Stosowanie pasków dymnych z 200 mg bromopropylatu w zwalczaniu warrozy pszczół

There were evaluated the efficacy of bromopropylate fumigant strips to control Varroa jacobsoni in bee colonies. The intensity of Varroa invasion was determined before and after the fumigation using bees anaesthethised with aether. Colonies were free of brood before the first fumigation. Each fumigations was done twice at 4 day intervals using one strip. The trials showed a 77.5—100.0% field efficacy after two treatments. The fumigation did not influence negatively bee colonies.
