In two trials carried out in 2009 and 2010 the occurrence of powdery mildew of tomato and late blight on tomato plants was observed at a middle to high level. Tank mix of dimethomorph and mancozeb at concentrations respectively 0.029 and 0.2%, azoxystrobin at concentration 0.025 and 0.05%, showed high efficacy in controlling of powdery mildew (Oidium lycopersici) and late blight (Phytophthora infestans) on tomato grown under cover. Grapefruit extract, orange oil, melaleuca oil and Bacillus subtilis gave also a satisfactory control of powdery mildew and late blight.
