W artykule scharakteryzowano pojęcie jakości w odniesieniu do usług transportowych, a przede wszystkim do środków transportu samochodowego. Omówiono kryteria jakości w tym obszarze. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na jakość eksploatacyjną, istotną z punktu widzenia użytkowników pojazdów. Analizie poddano zagadnienie jej oceny, wykorzystując podstawowe aspekty modelowania matematycznego.

The article describes the concept of quality in relation to the transport services and mainly to the means of motor transport. The quality criteria are discussed in this area. Particular attention is paid to the operational quality which is significant for vehicle users. The analysis covered the problem of its evaluation using the basic aspects of mathematical modelling.
