Problemy państw NATO i Układu Warszawskiego a bezpieczeństwo europejskie. Cz. 1

Autor omawia wydarzenia, które rozegrały się w drugiej dekadzie tzw. zimnej wojny zarówno w państwach europejskich NATO, jak i będących członkami Układu Warszawskiego. Przedstawia czynniki, które wpływały na problemy wewnętrzne tych państw, i konsekwencje wydarzeń. Miały one po obu stronach umownej barykady wpływ na stan bezpieczeństwa kontynentu europejskiego. Autor wskazuje też przyczyny uniknięcia konfliktu zbrojnego na większą skalę.

The second decade of the so-called Cold War brought about many events, both among European countries associated within NATO, and those being part of the Warsaw Pact. The author presents the factors that have influenced internal problems of these states, as well as consequences of the discussed events, which have affected the security situation of the European continent on both sides of the imaginary barricade. The author also indicates the reasons why a wide-scale military conflict has been avoided.
