Gospodarka wodno-ściekowa dziś i w nowej perspektywie

W myśl zapisów umowy partnerstwa w latach 2014-2020 priorytetowo będą traktowane projekty służące osiągnięciu zgodności z wymogami dyrektywy ściekowej, uwzględnione w aktualizacji Krajowego Programu Oczyszczania Ścieków Komunalnych. Na tle innych krajów UE Polska nadal zajmuje bowiem, niestety, bardzo niską pozycję pod względem liczby ludności korzystającej ze zbiorowego systemu oczyszczania ścieków.

Despite the general improvement in water and waste water management, however, Poland does not comply with the provisions of the Directive D91/271/ECC. Until 31.12.2015 Poland is obliged to ensure in all agglomerations having an „EH” (habitat equivalent) higher than 2000 a system for collection and treatment of urban waste water. Therefore, the European funds in the 2014-2020 period will support investments and projects set out in the National Programme of Municipal Wastewater Treatment.
