Modelowanie transportu rumowiska wleczonego w korytach rzek z dnem aluwialnym na przykładzie górnej i środkowej Odry

The paper presents the results of analysis of the bed load transport conditions in the river Odra. Parameter Ks/Kr has been estimated for upper and middle course of the river Odra. Its values are considerably less than 1.0 and can be even equal 0.3. The bed load transport intensity has been calculated by means of the Meyer-Peter and Müller formula (MPM). Parameter Ks/Kr, of this formula, has a great effect on the calculations of the bed load transport. The authors m dified the MPM formula using the real values o parameter Ks/Kr for Upper and Middle Odra. The bed load transport intensity calculated according to the new MPM-C formula is comparable with them easured transport intensity in the cross-section Ścinawa.
