W artykule przedstawiono skrócony zarys rozwoju elektroenergetyki w Wielkopolsce. Ograniczono się do obecnych granic województwa wielkopolskiego ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem miasta Poznania.
The paper presents the history of the power industry in Wielkopolska region over the last 130 years. The following topics are discussed: the beginnings of the power industry at the time when Wielkopolska was under Prussian rule, later in the interwar period and during the Second World War. The last chapter describes the period from 1945 up to the present day.
