Wypadki drogowe z przyczyn technicznych w ujęciu statystycznym na podstawie badań międzynarodowych i krajowych

Wypadki drogowe, których przyczyną był stan techniczny pojazdów są przedmiotem dyskusji i polemik często opartych na domniemaniach i przesądach. Celem pracy jest analiza światowych i krajowych badań w tym zakresie oraz analiza prac własnych Instytutu Transportu Samochodowego. Przedstawiono wyniki różnych badań prowadzonych przez międzynarodowe instytucje oraz Instytut Transportu Samochodowego. Opisano szczegółowo statystyki wypadków drogowych na podstawie wiarygodnych danych z Niemiec i Polski. Szczegółowe wyniki analiz statystycznych wskazują na mały wpływ stanu technicznego pojazdu na wypadki drogowe. Wypadek drogowy jest wynikiem głównie błędów kierującego pojazdem.

Road accidents caused by the technical condition of the vehicles are a subject of discussions and polemics often based on assumptions and prejudices. The aim of this study is to analyze the global and national researches in this field and the analysis of the Motor Transport Institute’s own work. There are results presented of various studies carried out by international institutions and Motor Transport Institute. The statistics of road accidents have been described in detail based on reliable data from Germany and Polish. Detailed results of the statistical analysis indicate a small effect of the vehicle’s condition on the road accidents. Road accident is due mainly to the vehicle operator’s errors.
