This paper presents strategical ecomanagement in contemporary enterprise. It investigates the nature of strategy and distinguish strategy from detailed planning. Strategy is shown as philosophy of firm which determines its behaviour and gives coherence and direction to the individual decissions. The purpose of strategy is to help to win. Enterprise must be observed in its environment. The paper contains the analysis of the environment, (inclusive the natural environment) and the analysis of resources and capabilities within the firm which are major factors in building of strategy. In the end, entrprises are classified according to their relations to the natural environment and problems of its protection.
