W artykule przybliżono i przedstawiono jeden z rodzajów systemów zarządzania, system informatyczny wspomagający zarządzanie produkcją, zwanego ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Systemy takie zawierają mechanizmy pomagające w zarządzaniu wszystkimi strukturami przedsiębiorstwa i oparte są na prognozowaniu i planowaniu procesów. This article presents one of the types of management systems, IT system supporting management of production, called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Such systems contain mechanisms to assist in the management of all structures in the company and are based on forecasting and planning processes. The successful implementation of an ERP system usually brings the company a lot of benefits, ranging from improving the information flow through to improved profitability increase.
