Information security is an important component of personal security and civil rights and freedoms. The essence of the state's activities for the security of an individual in the information area is to create protective systems which not only identify risks and threats to this area, but also contain effective measures to ensure it. The state bodies and entities that carry out activities related to the processing of personal data are obliged to observe the legal regulations that are in force in this area. The procedural activities and their nature related to the collection, processing, disclosure and transfer of personal data and other information about persons are closely related to the citizens' information rights. Therefore, the information aspect of these activities has been defined in national laws and international legal acts.
