Sprzęt znajdujący się na wyposażeniu Wojska Polskiego powinien uruchamiać się w określonym czasie w temperaturze ujemnej -40C. Dla spełnienia tego warunku w przypadku wysokoprężnych silników spalinowych należy na etapie projektowania sprzętu z zastosowaniem ww. silników zastosować dodatkowe systemy rozruchowe. W artykule przedstawiono czynniki wpływające na utrudniony rozruch silników wysokoprężnych w niskich temperaturach oraz sposoby rozwiązania tego problemu.
Equipment that is at the disposal of the Polish Armed Forces should be able to start at the temperature of -40ºC. To meet that requirement by compression-ignition engines, additional start-aiding systems should be considered at the stage of equipment design. The paper presents factors that hinder the start of compression-ignition engines at low temperatures and methods of solving the problem.
