Application of Kohonen’s network in logistics

The article presents the use of one of the methods from the area of artificial intelligence to evaluate transport companies. For this purpose the genesis and the concept of artificial intelligence, were made clearer. It describes the essential principles and structure of artificial neural networks, with particular emphasis on the Kohon’s network. The practical part of the article describes the use of one of the types of artificial neural networks – Kohonen’s network to evaluate transport companies.
