Budownictwo z gliny w aspekcie energooszczędności i ochrony środowiska

W artykule przedstawiono zalety gliny, odnoszące się bezpośrednio do jej energooszczędności i technologie budowy obiektów z gliny. Ten typ budownictwa, obecnie awangardowy i niekonwencjonalny, w przeszłości wynikał z oszczędności i konieczności używania tanich, lokalnych materiałów. W przyszłości te ostatnie kryteria mogą stać się priorytetem w nowoczesnym budownictwie mieszkaniowym. Szybko znikające zasoby naturalne, ciągle rosnące ceny oraz konieczność oszczędzania energii zmuszą powoli do zrewidowania konwencjonalnego podejścia do budownictwa.

In this publication the major advantages related directly to the energy efficiency were presented. Different forms of the innovative building methods related to raising buildings from clay were described. This type of construction, which is at present considered to be innovative and unconventional, in the past resulted from poverty, economizing and the necessity to use cheap, local materials. In the future the latter mentioned criteria may become the priority for the modern housing development. Quickly disappearing natural resources of our planet, their constantly growing prices and the necessity to save energy make us slowly review the conventional approach to construction.
