W artykule przedstawiono metody podwyższania trwałości i niezawodności sieci dystrybucyjnych gazu. Głównym celem w dystrybucji gazu ziemnego jest zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa użytkowania sieci oraz obniżenie nakładów inwestycyjnych i kosztów eksploatacji. Stwierdzono, że cel ten może być osiągnięty między innymi przez: - rozwój technologii zapewniających integralność sieci, - wdrożenie nowych materiałów i technologii budowy oraz renowacji sieci dystrybucyjnych gazu.

The paper presents methods of improving integrity and reliability of gas distribution networks. The main goal in the field of natural gas distribution is improvement in the security of the gas networks operation and lowering investment and operational outlays. It is assumed that this goal will be reached, among other things due to the following: - development of technologies which ensure network integrity, - introducing new materials and technologies in construction and renovation of the gas distribution networks.
