Ocena wartości opałowej fazy glicerynowej oraz jej mieszanin z biomasą

W badaniach oznaczono, za pomocą kalorymetru, wartość opałową fazy glicerynowej, będącej produktem ubocznym produkcji biopaliw z tłuszczów odpadowych, oraz jej mieszanin ze słomą i makuchem rzepakowym. Oceniono także ilość popiołów powstających w procesie spalania. Otrzymane wyniki świadczą o wysokim poziomie energetycznym zarówno samej fazy glicerynowej, jak i jej mieszanin z biomasą.

The study aimed at determination of the calorific value for glycerol phase, being a by-product at biofuel production from the waste fats, and its mixtures with the straw and rapeseed cakes. The calorific value was measured by means of a calorimeter connected with personal computer to control and visualization of the process. The amounts of ashes after burning process were also evaluated. Obtained results proved high calorific value of both, the glycerol phase itself and its mixtures with biomass of straw and the rapeseed cakes.
