Kształtowanie się społeczeństw informacyjnych na tle rozwoju infrastruktury informatycznej

Rozbudowa infrastruktury informatyczbej jest jednym z elementów wpływających na rozwój społeczeństw informacyjnych. Przedstawiono i krótko scharakteryzowano dane statystyczne dotyczące liczby hostów (komputerów podłączonych do sieci komputerowych i wyposażonych w numer IP) na świecie i w Europie. Na tym tle ukazano sytuację Polski.

Enlargement of computer-net infrastructure is one of the elements which influence development of information society. Statistical data of hostcount (host = a computer connected to the Internet with the name that has an IP address) in the world, in Europe and in Poland as well were presented and characterised. The situation of information society development in Poland was shown.
