Profesor Bronisław Buras: metoda dyspersji energii i promieniowanie synchrotronowe

In this note I am giving an account of my collaboration with Professor Bronisław Buras during the early years of synchrotron radiation in the 1970's and 80's. In particular, I am focusing on the development of the energy-dispersive method for X-ray diffraction and its use in high-pressure structural studies. I also describe Buras' role in establishing the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF).
