Catalytic recovery of greenhouse gases - general consideration

The present work concerns the possibilities of utilization of methane which is one of the most important greenhouse gases involved in the global warming effect. The conversion of methane towards useful products, such as formaldehyde, methanol or C[2] hydrocarbons is a very promising perspective.

Prezentowana praca dotyczy możliwości utylizacji metanu, jednego z gazów cieplarnianych odpowiedzialnych za efekt globalnego ocieplenia. Konwersja metanu do użytecznych produktów, takich jak formaldehyd, metanol oraz węglowodory C2 jest obiecująca.
