Aeration using membrane diffusers in a tank equipped with two impellers on a common shaft

The paper deals with the experimental studies on aeration in a tank equipped with two impellers of various types. The effect of the baffle shape has also been studied. It was observed that the most efficient system is a tank equipped with flat baffles and two Rushton turbines on a common shaft.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań doświadczalnych napowietrzania w mieszalniku z dwoma mieszadłami różnej konstrukcji. Badano również wpływ kształtu przegród na przebieg procesu. Stwierdzono, że najbardziej efektywny jest system złożony ze zbiornika z przegrodami płaskimi i dwóch mieszadłe standardowych Rushtona na wspólnym wale.
