W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań mieszania płynów tiksotropowych mieszadłem łapowym. Oceniano wpływ szerokości łapy na moc mieszania i zmianę właściwości reologicznych produktu. Optymalną geometrię mieszadła dobrano analizując zapotrzebowanie mocy przy jednoczesnej maksymalnej zmianie własności reologicznych.

The results of research concerned with the mixing of thixotropic fluids using paddle impellers are presented. The influence of the paddle width on both the mixing power and the change of the rheological properties of the product was investigated. The optimum geometry for the blade impeller was chosen as a result of the power requirement analysis and simultaneous consideration of the changes in the rheological properties of the medium.
