Probabilistyczne modele opadów miarodajnych do projektowania i weryfikacji częstości wylewów z kanalizacji we Wrocławiu

The basis of the work were pluviographic measurements from IMGW Wrocław-Strachowice meteorological station taken between the years 1960 - 2009. To select intensive rains from the pluviograms and for statistical analysis of their frequency, own criterion of precipitation intensity was applied, which allowed to select a few most intense precipitation occurrences for each year. Altogether, for the period of 50 years of observation there have been selected 514 synthetic rains, which later were put in series according to non-increasing values in 16 time periods. Physical models for maximum precipitation intensity were then designed, to be applied in designing de-hydration of Wrocław land area.
