Public-private partnership brings more possibilities in the area of realizing infrastructural investments. The proof for that is the presented example of building motorway A2 that confirms the possibility of effective cooperation between a public partner and private partners in the area of infrastructural investments. The investment of building motorway A2 is perceived as one of the most efficiently realized among the public-private investments in Poland. The model of its funding has been regarded as one of the most modem in Europe. The investors were honored with countless awards. In the article the research on funding way concerning this investment, the risk connected with it and other conditions of public-private cooperation was done.
