The issue discusses the attempts of using and shaping the existing ordered and disordered green areas and post-industrial wastelands on the boundaries of cities to create natural links of various functions, connecting the built-up areas, and at the same time supporting the deglomeration processes of the strongly urbanised and industrialised areas.
