W referacie zaprezentowano problematykę ochrony środowiska w założeniach reformy górnictwa węgla kamiennego oraz przedstawiono efekty ekologiczne uzyskane w latach 1998 i 1999 oraz w 1 kwartale 2000 r. w stosunku do wielkości przyjętych w rządowy programie reformy. Ponadto przedstawiono pozostałe ważniejsze wielkości rzeczowe - finansowe charakteryzujące zmiany oddziaływania tego sektora na środowisko naturalne w latach 1998 i 1999 oraz w 1 kwartale 2000 r.

This paper presents the subject matter environment protection as n the assumptions of the reform of hard coal industry and points out the ecological effects achieved in 1998 and 1999 as well as in the 1st quarter of 2000 as against the values accepted in the government programme of the reform. Besides, it presents the remaining more important substantial financial values characterizing the changes in influence of this sector pun the natural environment in 1998 and 1999 as well as the 1st quarter of 2000.
