Considering the present trends of civilization and interpreting the complementary time characteristics, as well as - taking into account the substance of the contemporary human being, the most actual moods of civil engineering and the relevant educational needs of engineeres and of the whole society are introduced. Especially, the relations between the theory and practice and adequate implications of ethics are discussed - together with the up-to-date and future requirements of the society, aesthetics, heritage, and sustainable development. Within that background, the desired shape of civil engineering graduate is being produced.
