Laserowa jonizacja próbki wspomagana matrycą

MALDI (Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/lonization is one of the most sensitive methods used for analysis of large molecules such as peptides, proteins and nucleotides. In the seventies plasma desorption, field desorption, chemical ionization, secondary ions emission and chemical ionization methods were used for studies on these molecules. They met many problems connected mainly with instability of huge molecules. Together with devolepment of pulsed lasers in the eighties a new method of detection was performed. It uses phenomena of laser desorption. The work presents results of some studies on large biomolecules with use of the time of flight mass spectrometer.
