Zawartość rtęci w gruntach pod powierzchnią hal elektrolizy rtęciowej

W artykule przedstawiono uzyskane wyniki oznaczeń całkowitej zawartości rtęci w przekroju pionowym gruntów pod powierzchnią hal elektrolizy w jednym z funkcjonujących w Polsce zakładów, gdzie produkowany jest chlor metodą elektrolizy rtęciowej. W zakładzie tym znajdują się dwie hale, jedna jest nieczynna, a druga częściowo eksploatowana. Ocenę stopnia zanieczyszczenia gruntów rtęcią oparto na standardach dla terenów grupy C użytkowania ziemi, rozumianej zgodnie z zapisami zawartymi w Rozporządzeniu Ministra Środowiska z 9 września 2002 r. w sprawie standardów jakości gleby i standardów jakości ziemi. Oszacowana ilość nagromadzonej rtęci w gruntach do głębokości 5 m pod powierzchnią hal elektrolizy rtęciowej wynosi około 370 kg.

The paper presents the data from the determination of the total mercury content in the vertical soil profile beneath the ground level of the mercury cell halls in an industrial plant in Poland, in which chlorine has been produced by the mercury cell method. There are two mercury cell halls in the plant, one of which is abandoned and the other is still partially operated. Assessment of soil pollution with mercury was performed based on standards for the group C of land use according to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 9 September 2002 on the quality standards of soils and land. The assessed total quantity of mercury present in soils up to the depth of 5 m under the surface of the mercury cell halls was estimated approximately 370 kg in 86 Mg of soil.
