The history of creating of Eurocode 7 and of implementing it in Poland are presented. The EC7, ENs and EN-ISO for classification, ground testing and testing of geotechnical structures are characterized. An information on course of implementing the EC7 in Poland and on the drafting of the new generation of Eurocodes EN 202x is given.
