JEDNOČLENNÉ VETY SO SLOVESNÝMI A SLOVESNO-NESLOVESNÝMI VETNÝMI ZÁKLADMI V TEXTOCH MODERNIZOVANÝCH PODÔB DOBŠINSKÉHO ROZPRÁVOK
In the presented study, we focus on an analysis of verbal and verbal-non-verbal one-member sentences in the texts of the modernized versions of Dobšinský’s fairy tales adapted for contemporary child reader by Ondrej Sliacky in his book Braček Jelenček. Investigating and analysing in detail one-member sentences in the given texts resulted from our long-term interest in the issue of the verb and its central position in two-member and especially one-member sentences in various types of texts. We define one-member sentence and sentence base as its main sentence member and characterize verbal and verbal-non-verbal one-member sentences in detail from the lexical-semantic, morphological and syntactic point of view, and drawing attention also to their representation, use and function in the examined texts. The given one-member sentences here represent a frequently used and distinct means of expression, richly differentiated both on the level of expression and meaning.
