Idea zrównoważonego rozwoju a współczesna kondycja moralna

The text considers the issue of balanced development from ethical perspective. The subject matter of the article is the confrontation of the ethical dimension of balanced development with contemporary leading tendencies of moral reflection. Treating the carriers of such tendencies as perspective addressees of the concept of balanced development constitutes the prerequisite of consideration about its presence in contemporary times. Analysis of the prerequisites and ethical dimension of neoliberal, postmodern and antiglobal orientation in confrontation with an imperative of balanced development tends to indicate crucial reasons of failures in implementing of the concept.
