Kierunek studiów a religijność i stosunek do religii

Badanie religijności studentów ma w Polsce swoją tradycję. Niemal zawsze wiązało się z rozpoznaniem różnic w religijności studentów oszczególnych dziedzin i kierunków. Artykuł ukazuje odmienności w odniesieniu do szeregu zagadnień, takich jak postawy wobec Kościoła, religii instytucjonalnej i duchowości, funkcjonowanie pojęcia Boga i Jezusa, Dekalogu, grzechu, religijnych aspektów kary za zło, nagrody za dobro oraz śmierci, wśród studentów kierunków humanistycznych, technicznych i medycznych z trzech szczecińskich uczelni publicznych. Autorka stara się także wyjaśnić przyczyny tych różnic odwołując się do odmienności paradygmatów nauk humanistycznych, technicznych i medycyny.

The research on students’ religiousness has had a rather long tradition in Poland. Most researchers have shown differences in religiousness among students of various courses and subject areas of study. The paper describes differences in students’ attitudes towards a number of questions, such as attitudes to the Catholic Church, to institutional religion and to spirituality in general, to the notion of God, interpretation of Jesus, the Decalogue, sin, religious aspects of evil and punishment, goodness and reward, death. The investigations are based on research carried out among Szczecin undergraduates of humanistic, technical and medical courses. It is attempted to account for and explain these differences by referring to the dissimilarities of paradigms of the humanistic, technical and medical sciences.
