A teacher with pupils in front of a school] [An iconographic document

The photo depicts a group of village children posing for the camera with a teacher in front of a school building. The children are mostly boys in identical uniforms. According to the photo's owner, it depicts children from a village school in Tuchanie, near Białopole. The photo was given by the teacher to her father – according to the inscription on the back. The teacher was a very kind person, devoted to children, the school and propagating education in the countryside. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "A souvenir for the Honourable Sir Chairman ... (inscription illegible), Białopole commune, presented by the school in Tuchanie. Tuchanie, d. 21 (?) 1926" 21 III 1926

Fotografia przedstawia grupę dzieci wiejskich pozujących do zdjęcia z nauczycielem na tle budynku szkoły. Wśród dzieci przewaga chłopców w takich samych mundurkach. Według właścicielki zdjęcia przedstawia ono dzieci z wiejskiej szkoły w Tuchaniach, wiosce niedaleko Białopola. Zdjęcie zostało ofiarowane przez nauczyciela jej ojcu o czym świadczy napis na odwrocie. Nauczyciel był człowiekiem bardzo ofiarnym, oddanym dzieciom, szkole i szerzeniu oświaty na wsi. Na odwrocie zdjęcia inskrypcja: "Na pamiątkę W.P. Przewodniczącemu ...(zapis nieczytelny), gm. Białopole ofiarowała szkoła w Tuchaniach. Tuchanie, d. 21 (?) 1926" 21 III 1926
