The project of transrelational ethnography presented in this article draws inspiration from several existing theoretical propositions, philosophical reflections and methodological assumptions, and its most general frame is the complex, complicated and relational ontology of reality. The philosophical, epistemic and methodological propositions which exceed anthropocentrism and turn towards the more-than-human world, i.e. posthumanism, new materialism, the concept of dwelling, and those embedding the process of cognition in the practices of entanglement, i.e. the theory of assemblage, and multi-species ethnography, also had an impact on the concept of transrelational ethnography, the shape of which I outline in the article. The text considers the impact of these currents and concepts on the new anthropological imaginary, arguing that transrelational ethnography can respond to the challenges of Anthropocene, climate change and its social, economic and ecological consequences. The text shows that transrelational ethnography allows us not to overlook the complex relationships that occur in current assemblages of human and more-than-human arrangements of reality
