Infobrokering. Przegląd piśmiennictwa za lata 2006-2010

Pracę poświęcono zagadnieniu infobrokeringu, rozumianego jako działalnośćusługowa, polegająca na pośredniczeniu pomiędzy informacjami a klientem.Omówiono zagadnienia terminologiczne oraz próby zdefiniowania tegopojęcia. Opisano początki działalności infobrokerskiej, zadania, kwalifikacjezawodowe i kompetencje brokerów informacji. Uwzględniono zagadnienieetyki zawodowej, porównanie profesji bibliotekarza z profesją infobrokera orazkoncepcję infobrokerstwa systemowego. W opisie sfery praktycznej skupionosię na działalności firm infobrokerskich i stowarzyszeń branżowych orazmożliwościach kształcenia zawodowego. Przedstawiono także uwarunkowaniarozwoju tej profesji w kontekście społeczeństwa informacyjnego, sektorainformacyjnego gospodarki oraz rynku pracy.

The dissertation raises an issue of information brokering, which is understood as service activities consisting in mediation between information and client. Terminological issues and attempts to define this notion were discussed. Origins of information brokering, tasks and professional qualifications and competence of infobrokers were described. The issues of professional ethics, comparing the profession of the librarian with the profession of the infobroker and the concept of working infobroker in company were considered. In the description of the practical sphere it concentrates on the operations of infobrokering companies and of trade associations and possibilities of the vocational training. Also the conditioning of the development of this profession in the context of the information society, the information sector of the economy and the labour market were described.
