The role of ​​the jihad and idea of the martyrdom in shaping the beginnings of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Praca przedstawia rolę jaką odegrał dżihad oraz idea męczeństwaw kształtowaniu się Islamskiej Republiki Iranu, analizując znaczenie pojęć oraz sytuację Iranu w XX wieku, przyczyny i skutki wybuchu rewolucji w 1979 roku w wyniku, której ustanowiono Islamską Republikę i wojnę iracko-irańską z lat 1980-88.W rozdziale pierwszym opisany został dżihad, jego występowanie i znaczenie w Koranie, rozwój ideologii od czasów pierwszej wspólnoty muzułmańskiej (ummy) do czasów współczesnych oraz idea szahadatu. Przedstawiono też wybranych myślicieli, m.in. Ibn Tajmijję, Hasana al-Bannę, Saida Kutba, czy Ruhollaha Chomeiniego i ich wpływ na rozwój doktryny.Rozdział drugi ukazuje sytuację Iranu w XX wieku – politykę dynastii Pahlawi, próby modernizacji kraju, reformy, stosunek do duchowieństwa, sytuację na arenie międzynarodowej oraz religijną opozycję, postać Ruhollaha Chomeiniego oraz rewolucję z roku 1979 roku.Rozdział trzeci pokazuje w jaki sposób powstawała i budowała swe fundamenty Republika Islamska i jaką rolę pełnił w niej dżihad. Opisane zostały powstały Korpus Strażników Rewolucji Islamskiej (Pasdaran), paramilitarny Basidż oraz rola wojny irańsko-irackiej w konsolidacji nowo powstałego tworu państwowego.Zakończenie stanowi podsumowanie analizowanego materiału. Wspomniane zostały również konsekwencje jakie miała rewolucja islamska dla Bliskiego Wschodu i reszty świata - m.in. rozwój terroryzmu motywowanego religijnie, interpretacje duchownych pozwalające na zamachy oraz zamachy samobójcze i zagrożenia za tym płynące.

This essay presents the role of the ​​jihad and idea of the martyrdomin shaping the Islamic Republic of Iran by analyzing the importance of concepts and the situation of Iran in the twentieth century - the causes and effects of the revolution in 1979, which as a result established the Islamic Republic and the war between Iraq and Iran in the years 1980-1988. The first chapter describes jihad, its prevalence and meanning in the Qur'an, the development of this ideology since the first muslim community (umma) till today and the idea of ​​shahadat. The section also includes some thinkers, including Ibn Taymiyya, Hasan al-Banna, Said Qutb, and Ruhollah Khomeini, and their impact on the development of doctrine of the jihad. The second chapter presents the situation of Iran in the twentieth century - a policy of the Pahlavi dynasty, the attempt to modernize the country, reforms, the ratio of the clergy, the situation in the world and the religious opposition with particular reference to Ruhollah Khomeini and the revolution of 1979.The third chapter shows how the Islamic Republic of Iran was created and built its foundation and the role that the jihad played in it. There was also described creation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Pasdaran), the paramilitary Basij and the role of Iran-Iraq war in the consolidation of the newly formed state solution. Completion is a summary of whole analyzed material. What are the consequences of the Islamic Revolution for the Middle East and the rest of the world - including development of religiously motivated terrorism, religious interpretations allowing the bombings and suicide attacks and threats related to the jihad.
