The role and use of selected active ingredients of cosmetic preparations intended for anti-acne treatment.

Trądzik ze względu na swoją złożoną patofizjologię wymaga wielokierunkowego leczenia, a więc stosowanie odpowiedniej pielęgnacji i kosmetyków przeciwtrądzikowych jest jego istotnym elementem.W niniejszej pracy omówiono budowę i funkcje skóry oraz jej przydatków, a także problem skórny jakim jest trądzik, dermatoza, która dotyka osoby w różnym wieku i jest dość powszechnym problemem skórnym. Praca zawiera również charakterystykę fizykochemiczną oraz informacje dotyczące roli i zastosowania składników aktywnych kosmetyków leczących trądzik. Przedstawiona charakterystyka substancji, będących składnikami aktywnymi produktów kosmetycznych o działaniu przeciwtrądzikowym uwzględnia ich podział na grupy pod względem ich aktywności: keratolitycznej, przeciwbakteryjnej, seboregulującej i przeciwzapalnej.

Acne due to its complex pathophysiology requires multidirectional treatment therefore the usage of suitable anti-acne skincare and cosmetic products constitutes an essential part.The following dissertation focuses on the structure and function of skin and its appendages, as well as the skin problems such as acne, dermatosis that affects people of all ages being is quite a common dermal problem. The paper also includes the physicochemical characteristics and information concerning the role and use of active substances in anti-acne cosmetics. The characteristics submitted in the dissertation involves the substances, which are the active ingredients of anti-acne cosmetic products and takes into account their division into groups according to their activity: keratolytic, antibacterial, seboregulating and anti-inflammatory.
