Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie polskiej Wojskowej Jednostki Specjalnej GROM, jako narzędzia wykorzystywanego w ramach walki z zagrożeniami asymetrycznymi, na przykładzie działań prowadzonych w Afganistanie, Iraku oraz na wodach Zatoki Perskiej. Autorka ukazała specyfikę asymetrii, oraz poprzez szczegółowe opisanie konkretnych akcji przeprowadzonych przez GROM w Iraku i Afganistanie, potwierdziła, jak dużą skuteczność posiadają jednostki specjalnie w redukcji zagrożeń asymetrycznych.
The aim of this paper is to present Polish Military Special Unit GROM, as a tool for the fight against asymmetric threats, on the example of activities in Afghanistan, Iraq and in the Persian Gulf. The author revealed the specificity of asymmetry, and detailing the specific operations carried out by GROM in Iraq and Afghanistan. It confirmed how effective specially units are in reducing asymmetric threats.
