Sexuality of young single women and its relation to various types of temperament.

Kobieca seksualność stanowi wciąż, mimo rewolucji seksualnej i coraz większej wolności obyczajowej, temat trudny i mało przebadany. Tematem niniejszych badań są wybrane obszary kobiecej seksualności (reaktywność seksualna, fantazje erotyczne, aktywność seksualna, antykoncepcja, postawy wobec seksu, oraz sposób doświadczania własnego ciała) i ich związki z temperamentem. Próbę badawczą stanowiło 68 kobiet, w wieku 19 – 29 lat, niepozostających w stałych relacjach romantycznych. Typ układu nerwowego wpływa na niektóre aspekty seksualności, takie jak reaktywność seksualna i aktywność seksualna. Im silniejszy układ nerwowy, tym niższą reaktywnością charakteryzuje się jednostka i mniej aktywności seksualnej podejmuje. W badaniach podjęto też próbę odpowiedzi na pytania o treść i częstotliwość fantazji erotycznych, najczęstsze metody antykoncepcji, związek między sposobem doświadczania ciała w aspekcie genitalnym a przeżywaniem własnej seksualności, poziom satysfakcji erotycznej, różnice w doświadczaniu seksualności przez kobiety posiadające doświadczenie seksualne oraz te, które takowego nie posiadają.

Notwithstanding sexual revolution and a greater sexual freedom, the question of women sexuality is still a difficult and little-studied matter. This research was designed to examine several areas of women sexuality (sexual activity and reactivity, sexual fantasies, contraception, attitudes toward sexual life, body experience) and their correlation with temperamental features.Respondents were 68 single women, aged 19-29.The nervous system type determines various facets of sexuality, such as sexual activity and sexual reactivity. It was showed that the stronger the nervous system of respondents, the lower sexual reactivity they reveal and the fewer sexual activities they take up.Furthermore, author of the study makes an attempt to address the question about the content and frequency of sexual fantasies, preferred methods of contraception, relation between body experience in genital respect and sexuality experience, level of sexual satisfaction, sexuality experience among sexually experienced vs. sexually inexperienced women.
