Nihilizm a tożsamość meksykańska w myśli Octavio Paza

The thesis shows that in Octavio Paz’s essays concerning the question of Mexican identity (El Laberinto de la Soledad, Posdata, Vuelta a el Laberinto de la Soledad) a new concept of nihilism is included, i.e. an instinctive nihilism as a component of Mexican identity. His perspective has an innovative character in relation to both, the European philosophical tradition and the Mexican reflection on its identity.

Teza pracy głosi, ze w esejach Octavio Paza dotyczących kwestii meksykańskiej, tj. przede wszystkim w "Labiryncie samotności" oraz w odwołujących się do niego w późniejszej twórczości autora "Posdata" oraz "Vuelta a el Laberinto de la Soledad", została zawarta nowa koncepcja nihilizmu, mianowicie nihilizmu instynktownego jako komponentu tożsamości meksykańskiej. Myśl Paza posiada nowatorski charakter zarówno w stosunku do tradycji filozofii europejskiej jak i meksykańskiego namysłu nad własną narodowością.
