The Funeral Rites of the Leaders of The Soviet Union. The analysis of audiovisual materials.

Tematem pracy jest obrzędowość pogrzebowa przywódców ZSRR. Na początku zostały omówione podstawowe definicje, takie jak: obrzęd, rytuał, ceremonia. Następnie przytoczona została historia śmierci i zobrazowano rytuały pogrzebowe królów i carów. W dalszej części opisano pogrzeby radzieckich przywódców z uwzględnieniem ich symboliki. W ostatnim rozdziale zanalizowano je jako rytuał i jako widowisko kulturowe.

The theme of this thesis is The Funeral Rites of the Leaders of The Soviet Union. At the beginning, basic definitions such as the rite, ritual and ceremony were discussed. Followed by the origin of the death and description of the funeral rites of kings and tsars. Subsequently the description of the funerals of the Soviet leaders and its symbolism was provided. Finally the last chapter analyses the subject from a cultural spectacle's point of view.
