Proces adopcji w Polsce. Konteksty prawno-pedagogiczne

The subject of the dissertation is adoption in Poland and its legal and pedagogical contexts. Selected issue of the thesis is a secondary analysis of sources about adoption in Poland. The core of the touched problem is what adoption is, how proceeding while adopting, what are the challenges for adoptive parents and also how the adopting children react. The research method used analysis of existing documents and studies. This method analyzes selected scientific literature. The whole dissertation consists of three chapters and each covers different aspects of adoption. The first chapter starts with the history of adoption; there is the terminology and the process of adoption abroad and in Poland. There are described the proceeding and changes of adoption from its inception to our time. Therefore, it is shown from the oldest form of adoption in Rome and to that point, how does adoption work now. Terminology helps us better understand the message contained in the topic. The second chapter describes the parent’s preparation for adoption. The adoption process has been described step by step, the challenges, and problems that adoptive parents may encounter. Equally, there are questions that parents often ask staff members and at the first meeting with the child. The third chapter contains information about adoption motives in adoptive parents. What makes the candidates make such decisions, which helps in the adoption process, and what interfere. The results of the study on the preferred age, gender, number of children, their health status and issues of ancestry are presented.

Tematem tej pracy jest adopcja w Polsce i jej konteksty prawno-pedagogiczne. Wybraną problematyką pracy jest wtórna analiza źródeł na temat adopcji w Polsce. Praca głównie mówi o tym, co to jest adopcja, jak przebiega adopcja, jakie są wyzwania ze strony rodziców adopcyjnych i jakie ze strony dzieci adoptowanych. W metodzie badawczej posłużono się analizą zastanych dokumentów oraz opracowań. W tej metodzie analizuje się wybraną literaturę naukową. Cała praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów i w każdym poruszane są inne aspekty adopcji.Pierwszy rozdział rozpoczyna się historią o adopcji, jest tam terminologia i przebieg adopcji zagranicą i w Polsce. Są tam opisane przebieg i zmiany adopcji od momentu jej powstania i do naszych czasów. Czyli od najstarszej formy adopcji w Rzymie i do tego momentu jak wygłada adopcja teraz. Terminologia jednak pomaga nam lepiej zrozumieć przekaz zawarty w temacie. Drugi rozdział opisuje przygotowania rodziców do adopcji. Opisany został krok po kroku proces adopcji, wyzwania i problemy z którymi mogą się spotkać rodzice adopcyjne. Równiż zostały przedstawione pytania, które rodzice często zadają pracownikom ośrodka, a także pierwsze spotkanie z dzieckiem. Trzeci rozdział zawiera informacje o motywach adopcji u rodziców adopcyjnych. Co sprawia, że kandydaci podejmują takie decyzje, co pomaga w procesie adopcji, a co przeszkadza. Przedstawione są wyniki badań o preferowanym wieku, płci, liczby dzieci, ich stanu zdrowia i kwestiach pochodzenia.
