Interdisciplinarni projekti kao prilika za tradicionalnu filologiju : na primjeru projekta "Pronađeno u prijevodu", Rijeka 2012-2014

Traditional philology models increasingly fail to meet expectations set for higher education in contemporary social conditions. This review analyses an example of a good cooperation between Croatian studies in Krakow (Poland) and Rijeka (Croatia), showing the benefits of mutual support in the search for new ways of traditional philology. The described project effectively combines knowledge of Croatian culture (especially on film) with film translation issues and the practical use of Croatian as a foreign language. Participants are provided with a good opportunity to improve language skills, master new tools, and adopt essential cultural patterns. The project encourages the exchange of students, strengthens cooperation between universities, and gives teachers new research areas.
