Kupleks. O pewnych rozkładach prawdopodobieństwa w mechanice kwantowej

Celem pracy jest opisanie zbioru wszystkich możliwych rozkładów prawdopodobieństwa w kontekście pewnego ustalonego pomiaru kwantowego. Pomiar ten reprezentowany jest przez tzw. SIC-POVM (ang. symmetric informationally complete positive operator valued measure), sam zbiór nosi natomiast nazwę kupleksu (ang. qplex od quantum - kwantowy oraz simplex - sympleks). Prócz przedstawienia jego konstrukcji uogólnimy to pojęcie na dwie równoważne definicje abstrakcyjne. Dzięki takiej analizie będziemy mogli przyjrzeć się pewnym własnościom geometrycznym tego zbioru.

The goal of this paper is to describe the set of all valid probability distributions with respect to certain quantum measurement. Our measurement is represented by so called SIC-POVM (symmetric informationally complete positive operator valued measure), while the above-mentioned set is known as qplex (which comes from words "quantum" and "simplex"). Apart from explaining its construction we will also generalize this concept and present two equivalent, abstract definitions of the qplex. This analysis will lead us to get an idea concerning some geometrical properties of this object.
