Journal de voyage "Ecuador" d'Henri Michaux : le poète sur l'Amazone

As the title suggests, the article is a careful reading of the last part of Henri Michaux’s travel journal "Ecuador". This is the final stage of a long journey of the poet-traveller who spent over a year in South America. He resided mainly in Ecuador, from where he often set off on horseback to visit Andean surroundings – both those located close by and those more remote. Upon his decision to return to Europe, he and his friend decided to embark on this dangerous journey home down the Napo River and the Amazon River to the Brazilian coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Zgodnie z tytułem artykuł jest uważną lekturą ostatniej części dziennika podróży Henriego Michaux zatytułowanego "Ecuador". To ostatni etap długiej podróży poety-podróżnika, który spędził w Ameryce Południowej cały rok. Głównie w Ekwadorze, skąd wyruszał najczęściej konno w bliższe i dalsze andyjskie okolice. Wraz z decyzją o powrocie do Europy postanowił wraz z przyjacielem odbyć tę pełną niebezpieczeństw podróż rzeką Napo i Amazonką aż do brazylijskiego wybrzeża Oceanu Atlantyckiego.
