Praca jest analizą albumu Trans Europe Express, niemieckiego zespołu Kraftwerk. Głównym tematem jest to jak grupa, próbuje zjednoczyć powojenną Europę, w jeden spójny krajobraz. Wykorzystują do tego figurę tytułowej kolei TEE, która staję się technologicznym narzędziem w osiągnięciu tegoż celu. Charakterystycznym dla tego gatunku muzyki jest zabieg nazywanym motorik, który staje się bardzo kluczowy w kontekście kraftwerkowej podróży.

The work focuses on the Trans Europe Express album by the German band Kraftwerk. The main aim of the thesis is to answer the question of how the group tries to unite post-war Europe into one coherent landscape. They use the eponymous TEE railway figure which is a technological tool in achieving this goal. The music of the electronic band is also an attempt to re-incorporate their nation into the European landscape, which lost its identity after World War II. Therefore, an important aspect of the research is the economic, political, and social situation of the nation in the 1970s. Because of a variety of factors, the new kind of music – called Krautrock – is created in Germany and it revolutionizes the rock sounds of the 1970s. It becomes crucial in the context of the journey of Kraftwerk.
