Apokalipsa i wirtualność : dwa nowoczesne paradygmaty realizmu
The article is an attem pt at presenting the dialectics of two paradigms of the modern approach to realism. On the one hand, in modern discourses - both philosophical-theoretical and literary - one can clearly see the problem of apocalypse understood both as a universal catastrophe of the world representable in language, and as a revelation of difficult (from ontological and cognitive perspective) relationship between subjectivity, world and discourse. On the other, however, the languages of modernity express modernist problems with validation of the status of objects and things subjected to the discourses of virtuality. The author analyses both crucial philosophical texts (Derrida, Deleuze, Baudrillard), as well as im portant literary works (Krasznahorkai, Robbe-Grillet).
