Zmiany temperatury powietrza latem w Europie Środkowej w ostatnim tysiącleciu w świetle danych pośrednich

The goal of this paper was to conduct an analysis of the variability of summer temperature in the period 755-2020 in Central Europe using a database in which the values are presented in the form of annual anomalies using 1961-1990 as the reference period. The first chapters are devoted to the theoretical description of the data sources used in paleoclimatology and historical climatology, followed by a summary of the state of literature on the history of climate from the last 17 000 years (Holocene and Late Pleistocene) to obtain a visual image if the scale of variability of climatic conditions in two rather different geological epochs. To gain context of the summer temperature changes in the period 755-2020 the analysis itself is again preceded by a visual description of the climatic phases to which this period is classified to. The last chapter is an attempt to show the correlation between the obtained linear temperature sequences and medieval/early modern historical sources in Central Europe.

W tej pracy dokonano analizy zmienności letniej temperatury w okresie 755-2020 na terenie Europy Środkowej, korzystając z bazy danych, w której wartości przedstawione są w formie rocznych anomalii liczonych od poziomu średniej z okresu 1961-1990. Pierwsze rozdziały poświęcone zostały teoretycznemu opisowi źródeł używanych w paleoklimatologii oraz klimatologii historycznej, po którym następuje streszczenie powstałego przy ich udziale stanu literatury dotyczącego historii klimatycznej z okresu ostatnich 17 000 lat (Holocen i Schyłkowy Plejstocen) w celu uzyskania obrazu skali zmienności warunków klimatycznych w dwóch różniących się od siebie epokach geologicznych. Sama analiza zmian letniej temperatury z okresu 755-2020 w Europie Środkowej poprzedzona jest umieszczeniem uzyskanych serii w znanym z literatury kontekście tych zmian. Ostatni rozdział jest próbą wykazania korelacji pomiędzy uzyskanymi sekwencjami liniowymi oraz średniowiecznymi i nowożytnymi źródłami historycznymi z omawianego obszaru.
