Ekloga jako gatunek w ujęciu Wergiliusza i Petrarki. Mikrostudium kontrastywne.

The main purpose of my thesis is the analysis of the literary genre of Petrarch’s "Bucolicum Carmen" by comparing the work to the Virgil’s eclogues. In this way I would like to describe how Petrarch developed his own understanding of pastoral poetry and adapted the genre to his times. The first part of my study has an introductory character, summarizing the popularity and perception of the bucolic genre between Virgil and Petrarch based on selected examples. The second part summarizes the key characteristics of Virgil’s eclogues and his innovations in comparison to other authors. The third part focuses on the analysis of the structure, idea, way of imitating the predecessors, as well as the usage of allegory in Petrarch's work. Then, the similarities and differences between the works are identified and the place of "Bucolicum Carmen" in literary tradition is pointed out.

Głównym celem mojej pracy jest analiza gatunku literackiego „Bucolicum Carmen” Francesca Petrarki poprzez porównanie dzieła do eklog Wergiliusza. W ten sposób chciałabym opisać, jak Petrarka rozwinął własne rozumienie poezji pasterskiej i dostosował ten gatunek do swoich czasów. Pierwsza część mojego opracowania ma charakter wprowadzający, podsumowujący popularność i postrzeganie gatunku bukolicznego między Wergiliuszem a Petrarką na podstawie wybranych przykładów. Druga część ukazuje najważniejsze cechy eklog Wergiliusza i jego innowacje w porównaniu z innymi autorami. Trzecia część koncentruje się na strukturze dzieła Petrarki, zamyśle, sposobie imitacji poprzedników oraz zastosowaniu alegorii. Następnie wskazane zostają podobieństwa i różnice między dziełami oraz miejsce „Bucolicum Carmen” w tradycji literackiej.
