Can a rhyme be a threat to metaphysics? : on the operation of language in four lines by MLB [MIłosz Biedrzycki]

In the article, the author analyzes a set of four recent poems by Miłosz Biedrzycki, which were not included in his volume Wiosna Ludzi [Spring of People, 2022]. The work illustrates the field of emergence of meanings, for which linguistic remnants are responsible, be it in the form of sound traces left by them, unsaid meanings, or foreign sounds penetrating the structure of words. They show how language released from its referential functions becomes not so much a transmitter of meaning as one of the possibilities of experiencing connection with the presymbolic order.
